Our 2023 Initiatives and Accomplishments

We are proud to share that your generous donation directly supported and expanded our impactful education-based and community-inspired programs. In this spirit, for the year 2023, the POP Foundation made the following donations:

• $80,000 towards 10 Student Scholarships over the next four years: Ensuring students can fund their education and pursue their dreams. In partnership with Silver State Schools Credit Union, over $1.1 Million in scholarships have been awarded since 1989 to Nevada High School Seniors.
• $22,000 towards the Happy Times Calendar Art Contest: Elevating student Art by acknowledging and awarding talent in every grade level from kindergarten to 12th grade.
• $11,732 to the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).
• $10,000 to the Maui Disaster Relief Fund.
• $8,000 to date to the A+ Educators Program: As seen on Fox 5, this program recognizes, celebrates, and rewards the unsung heroes in the classroom who have a profound passion for education.
• $7,300 in ‘Sweet’ Cases: Contributing 100 employee volunteer hours, over 200 children in foster care received necessities and comfort items in ‘Sweet’ Cases, as many do not have time or resources to pack as they transition from home to home.
