OUR HISTORY
Dedicated to making a lasting difference since 1951, Silver State Schools Credit Union (SSSCU) employees established the Community Involvement Committee (CIC) in its commitment to bettering the community. The CIC, formed by philanthropic employees, actively supported nonprofit organizations in Nevada as well as Clark County School District Focus Schools.
THE FOUNDATION IS BORN
Recognizing the positive impact, SSSCU leadership created the Silver State Schools CU People Over Profit (POP) Foundation in 2018 to further philanthropic initiatives benefiting Nevada’s students and educators.

Silver State Schools CU People Over Profit Foundation uses your donor information to process donations, acknowledge donors, and provide you with information concerning programs, projects, and activities. Additionally, we use the information for internal purposes (to better understand our donors) and for analytical purposes (to improve our website, outreach, and donor base).

We strive to make a better future for Nevada by helping our youth succeed. Every donation we receive will go towards programs that support Nevada’s youth success.
